Billio Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Billio ("Billio", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Billio mobile application and related services.

By using Billio, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Billio provides AI-powered image and video generation and related creative features. Depending on the features you use, we may process information associated with your device, account, uploaded media, generated content, and subscription.

2. Information We Collect

Device and Account Information

When you first use Billio, the application may create a device-associated account so that you can use the application without creating a traditional username and password.

We may collect and associate information such as:

  • A device identifier or application-generated device identifier
  • An internal Billio user ID
  • Account creation and activity information
  • Subscription and entitlement information
  • Credits and usage information
  • Information necessary to maintain your session and provide access to your account

A device-associated account is used to provide access to your Billio account and its associated data.

Account Recovery Information

Billio may provide account restoration using passwordless verification.

If you choose to add a phone number or email address for account recovery, we may collect:

  • Your phone number, if you choose phone verification
  • Your email address, if you choose email verification
  • Verification status associated with the phone number or email address

These details are used to verify ownership of the account and allow you to restore your Billio account on another device.

Billio does not require a traditional password for this recovery process.

One-Time Passwords (OTP)

When you request account recovery using a phone number or email address, Billio may generate and send a temporary one-time verification code.

OTP information is used solely for authentication and account-recovery purposes.

Verification codes are temporary and are not intended to be used as permanent account credentials. We may store limited verification information, such as a securely protected representation of a verification code, expiration time, verification status, and related security information, for the purpose of preventing abuse and completing authentication.

We do not use OTP codes for advertising or marketing purposes.

Images and Other Media

If you use Billio's AI generation or editing features, you may choose to upload photographs, images, or other media.

We process uploaded media and associated instructions or prompts to provide the requested AI generation or editing functionality.

Depending on the feature, generated images or videos may also be stored or associated with your account so that the service can provide the requested functionality.

AI Generation Prompts

When you use an AI generation feature, we may process information such as:

  • Text prompts
  • Style or generation selections
  • Generation settings
  • Uploaded reference images or other media
  • Generation status and results

This information is processed to provide the requested AI functionality and maintain the associated generation history or service state where applicable.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and maintain your Billio account
  • Identify your account and associate devices with your account
  • Provide AI image and video generation
  • Process uploaded images and other media
  • Generate and deliver requested content
  • Maintain generation history and service status where applicable
  • Manage credits and usage
  • Process and verify subscriptions and purchases
  • Provide account recovery through phone or email verification
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Maintain application security
  • Diagnose errors and improve reliability
  • Provide customer support
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your phone number or email address for advertising merely because you provide it for account recovery.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

Billio may use third-party service providers to provide infrastructure, payment processing, authentication, AI generation, storage, and other services required to operate the application.

Depending on the feature used, information may be transmitted to these providers for processing on Billio's behalf.

AI Processing Providers

Billio may use third-party AI infrastructure providers to process prompts, images, videos, and other inputs required to generate requested content.

The information sent to an AI provider depends on the particular AI feature and model used.

Cloud Storage

Billio may use cloud storage infrastructure to store application data, uploaded media, generated media, or other files required to provide the service.

Database and Infrastructure Providers

Billio uses cloud infrastructure and database services to store and process account, application, usage, and service information.

Google Play

If you purchase a Billio subscription or other in-app product through Google Play, Google processes the transaction through Google Play's payment infrastructure.

Billio receives information necessary to verify and manage the purchase and associated entitlement. Billio does not receive your full payment card number or other complete payment credentials from Google Play.

[CONFIRM THE EXACT AI, STORAGE, EMAIL/SMS, AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROVIDERS ACTUALLY USED IN PRODUCTION BEFORE PUBLISHING.]

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Billio may offer subscriptions and other in-app purchases through Google Play.

Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing.

We may process information such as:

  • Purchase tokens
  • Product identifiers
  • Subscription/base-plan information
  • Purchase status
  • Subscription status
  • Order or transaction identifiers
  • Entitlement information

This information is used to verify purchases, provide the purchased features, maintain subscription status, and prevent unauthorized access to paid functionality.

Billio does not store your complete payment card or bank account information.

6. Account Restoration and Device Linking

Billio is designed to allow users to begin using the application without a traditional username-and-password registration process.

If you subsequently use the account restoration feature, the verified phone number or email address may be associated with your existing Billio account.

After successful verification, the new device may be linked to the existing account so that account information and eligible entitlements can be restored.

This mechanism is intended to allow users to recover their account when changing, replacing, or reinstalling a device.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or provide access to information with service providers when necessary to operate Billio.

For example, information may be shared with:

  • AI processing providers when required to provide an AI generation feature
  • Cloud storage providers when required to store or retrieve files
  • SMS or email verification providers when you use account recovery
  • Payment platforms such as Google Play when required to process or verify purchases
  • Infrastructure and database providers that host Billio's services
  • Service providers supporting security, monitoring, or technical operations

These providers are used for legitimate service-related purposes and are not authorized to use your information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to Billio, subject to their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of Billio, our users, or others.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for only as long as reasonably necessary to provide Billio's services, maintain accounts and entitlements, meet legitimate operational requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

The retention period depends on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

For example, account and subscription information may need to be retained while your account or entitlement is active. Temporary authentication information, such as OTP verification data, may be retained only for the period necessary to complete verification and maintain security.

Generated or uploaded media may be retained according to the storage and generation functionality associated with the feature.

[INSERT YOUR ACTUAL MEDIA RETENTION PERIOD IF YOU HAVE ONE. IF MEDIA IS DELETED AFTER A SPECIFIC PERIOD, SAY SO HERE.]

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Billio account and associated personal information.

Account deletion can be initiated:

Inside the Billio application:

[INSERT PUBLIC ACCOUNT-DELETION URL]

When an account deletion request is completed, we will delete or anonymize the information associated with the account as required by applicable law and our retention practices.

Some information may be retained where necessary for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, financial recordkeeping, or compliance with legal obligations. Where information is retained for such purposes, it will be retained only for the period required for that purpose.

If you have an active subscription purchased through Google Play, canceling the subscription and deleting your Billio account are separate actions. Deleting your Billio account does not necessarily cancel a subscription managed by Google Play. You should cancel the subscription through Google Play to prevent future charges.

Google Play requires apps that provide account creation to provide users with both an in-app account-deletion mechanism and an external web resource for requesting account deletion.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through Billio.

These measures may include:

  • Encryption of data transmitted between the application and our servers
  • Access controls for backend systems
  • Authentication and authorization controls
  • Secure handling of authentication credentials and verification information
  • Rate limiting and abuse prevention for authentication endpoints
  • Restricted access to production systems
  • Monitoring and logging for security and operational purposes

No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

Billio is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Billio in circumstances where such collection is not permitted, please contact us using the contact information below.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where we are required to obtain parental consent or delete the information, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

[CONFIRM YOUR ACTUAL TARGET AGE/AUDIENCE AND PLAY "CHILDREN" DECLARATION BEFORE PUBLISHING.]
